<p>1. 11.07.09 &#8211; Attended RC Kuala Pilah’s Installation Dinner.</p>
<p>2. 22.08.09 &#8211; Family of Rotary – 1st Pot’s Luck fellowship dinner was held at No. 807, Taman Rasa Sayang, the residence of our Club Service Director PP Tee Boon Heng.</p>
<p>3. 11.09.09 &#8211; PP Lioh Cheng Lim attended 2010-11 Assistant Governor’s Training Seminar (AGTS) over the weekend at Cititel Hotel, Penang hosted by RC Penang. </p>
<p>4. 15.09.09 &#8211; AG Balachandran Nair’s Official Club Visit. He addressed members and reviewed the tentative program prepared for DG’s Official Visit and DG Leslie’s expectation from our club.  </p>
<p>5. 29.09.09 &#8211; Hosted a fellowship dinner to welcome our District Governor Leslie Salehuddin &#038; District 1st Lady Ziela at Wangsamas Hotel Restaurant on the occasion of District Governor’s Official Visit to RC Tampin.</p>
<p>6. 23.10.09 &#8211; Our club co-hosted District 3300 PRE-PETS 1 at A’ Famosa Resort for about 120 participants comprising of President Elects and District Officers in preparation for the coming Rotary year 2010-11. </p>
<p>7. 08.11.09 &#8211; 21st Rotary Day : Promote Rotary Awareness Campaign:<br />

<p>8. 24.11.09 &#8211; Guest speaker PP Dr. Siva Ananthan of RC Brickfields delivered a very informative and interesting talk on “Club Leadership Plan – CLP”.</p>
<p>9. 28.11.09 &#8211; Family of Rotary – Hosted Pot’s Luck in appreciation of all our helpers for 21st ROTARY DAY at the residence of PP Tai Nam Sin at No. 464, Taman Clonlee.  </p>
<p>10. 20.02.10 &#8211; Family of Rotary – Chinese New Year Pot’s Luck was held at the new bungalow PP Tan Chin Sing at Taman Clonlee. Rotarians and Anns from RC PJ were present with President Dr. Eric Wong and PDG David Ho. We had wonderful fellowship with Rotary friends and supporters. </p>
<p>11. 04.03.10 &#8211; Family of Rotary – Rotarians attended funeral wake to pay our last respects to late IPP M. Gunalan Machap who passed away. </p>
<p>12. 13.03.10 &#8211; Family of Rotary – 3D2N family outing to Cameron Highlands organized by Club Service Director. </p>
<p>13. 14.03.10 &#8211; District 3300 PRE-PETS 2, 14-15 March 2010 at D’ Villa Residence, Kuala Lumpur hosted by RC Central Damansara. Our club was represented by PE Lau Kwong Nee and Incoming AG PP Lioh Cheng Lim. </p>
<p>14. 15.03.10 &#8211; Family of Rotary – PP Chin Choy Fook, PP Gan Choong Tat and Rotary Ann Lee Kwai Fun successfully conquered Mount Kinabalu, the highest mountaion in South East Asia and proudly displayed our club’s theme banner at the summit at elevation 4095.2M (13,435 ft.)  </p>
<p>15. 18.03.10 &#8211; Attended Hon. Member Mr. Tay Ah Long’s 79th Birthday Dinner.   He presented his annual contribution of RM10,000.00 to our club’s education aids fund. </p>
<p>16. 16.04.10 &#8211; 76th Rotary International District 3300 Assembly, 16-18 April 2010 Sunway Resort, Kuala Lumpur. Our club was represented by PE Lau Kwong Nee and PP Lioh Cheng Lim. </p>
<p>17. 18.05.10 &#8211; Family of Rotary – Rotarians &#038; Rotary Anns attended funeral wake to pay our last respects to late beloved mother of Rtn. Raymond Soh. Received RM500.00 donation to the club. </p>
<p>18. 22.05.10 &#8211; Family of Rotary – Rotarians and families attended Rtn. Micheal Lee’s granddaughter’s full moon party held at his residence No. 1, Jalan Bukit Indah 2, Tanan Bukit Indah, Tampin. </p>
<p><strong>COMMUNITY SERVICE</strong></p>
<p>1. 12.07.09 – THONEH EYE SURGERY Project – cataract operation was conducted on 12 senior citizens by surgical team headed by an ophthalmologist operating from the Mobile Operation Theatre truck at Chung Hua School. Each patient was charged a nominal sum of RM500.00 only. It is the first community service project on health concern carried out by RC Tampin to start off the Rotary year 2009-2010. </p>
<p>2. 14.07.09 &#8211; Provided monthly financial assistance of RM120.00 x 12 = RM1,440 to Madam Teck Kim Chow of Gemencheh to support her children schooling expenditures.  </p>
<p>3. 15.07.09 &#8211; Provided monthly allowance of RM180.00 x 2 x 6 =RM2,160.00 for two teachers at Pusat Dalam Komuniti (PDK) Tampin handicapped children centre. </p>
<p>4. 21.07.09 – Provided RM1,000 to refurbish wallpaper at Tampin Hospital Children’s Ward and donated soft toys courtesy of A’ Famosa Animal World Safari.    </p>
<p>5. 01.09.09 – Donated RM300.00 to Mr. Soon Ah Kow to subsidize the cost of ocular lens for his eye operation. </p>
<p>6. 15.09.09 – Provided RM1,600.00 for custom made book shelves to SRJK (C)  Kg. Baru Gedok, Gemencheh.  </p>
<p>7. 06.10.09 – Provided RM2,000.00 for tables and chairs to SRJK (C)  Pay Chee Pulau Sebang under their library renovations project. </p>
<p>8. 06.10.09 – Provided RM1,000.00 to District 3300 Disaster Relief Fund for victims of earthquake in Indonesia and typhoon in the Philippines. </p>
<p>9. 20.10.09 – Provided a  laminating machine, binding machine and fax machine to SRJK (Tamil) Ladang Repah.  </p>
<p>10. 25.10.09 – Provided RM1,080.00 for custom made book shelves to SRJK (C) Sam Yuh, Simpang Empat, Alor Gajah, Melaka.  </p>
<p>11. 03.11.09 &#8211; Donated RM1,000.00 to Mr. Lau Pak Keong for his 4-year old son who is suffering from leukemia that needs regular medical treatment in Kuala Lumpur. </p>
<p>12. 08.11.09 &#8211;  21st Rotary day:<br />

<p>13. 17.11.09 &#8211; Provided  financial aids for needy students of SRJK (C) Chung Hua @ RM30.00 x 15 = RM450.00 plus 20 copies of Chinese-English dictionaries that was presented during their Annual Speech Day.</p>
<p>14. 06.01.10 – Provided financial assistance by donating a token sum of RM500.00 to Mr. Koh Hi Kian, a jobless and stroke patient to support his family. </p>
<p>15. 26.01.10 – Presented a modified motorcycle to OKU Mr. Mohan costing RM3,985.00.  </p>
<p>16. 25.03.10 &#8211; PDK Special Children Family Outing to A’ Famosa Water World saw participation from PDK Tampin, Rembau, Sri Kendong, Gemencheh, Sg. Timun, Jelai, Pasir Besar and Gemas. Datin Tan Chay Hoon, wife of our Hon. Member Datuk Alex Lau hosted this annual event and presented angpows to all the children. </p>
<p>17. 02.04.10 &#8211; The GOLDEN CHILD Project a joint community service project with RC Petaling Jaya and RC Hong Kong Island West  that bring children with terminal cancer  for a weekend outing to attractions at  A’ Famosa Resort. Our Hon. Member Datuk Alex Lau and his wife Datin Tan Chay Hoon have generously sponsored the accommodation and breakfast for this 3D2N event. </p>
<p>18. 24.04.10 &#8211; Completed TRF Matching Grant Project # 72248 to construct an ecological park at Lung-An Elementary School, Taipei City, Taiwan with our sister club RC Taipei Castle, RI District 3480 Taiwan ROC as the international partner sponsor contributing USD$2,000.00.</p>
<p><strong>INTERNATIONAL SERVICE</strong></p>
<p>1. 06.09.09 – PE Lau Kwong Nee and Secretary PP Lioh Cheng Lim attended the District Rotary Foundation Seminar at Menara Yayasan Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur organized by RC Brickfields.</p>
<p>2. 06.10.09 – Contributed USD$1,000.00 to The Rotary Foundation Polioplus Eradication Program.</p>
<p>3. 26.11.09  &#8211; “ROTALOOK” PROJECT to Udonthani Thailand saw the participation of six Rotarians’ children and a guest child namely  CHIN YIH CHYI ( daughter of PP Chin) , GAN WAN HAN ( daughter of PP CT Gan), TEE SHU FIA ( daughter of PP Tee ), NG XUE MIN ( daughter of PP Ng Boon Kway ), LEE MEI JIUAN ( daughter of VP Rtn. K.L. Lee ), GAN TSAI WEE ( son of PP Gan Boon Kiong ) and LIM JIE SHENG ( a friend of TSAI WEE ). For 13D12N, Rotarians from our sister club RC Udonthani open their homes to host these children giving them the opportunity to experience different culture and learn about local customs, languages, traditions and family life in another foreign country.</p>
<p><strong>INTERNATIONAL SERVICE</strong></p>
<p>4. 25.12.09 &#8211; Hosted 2D1N Rotary Friendship Visit to Tampin by our sister club RC Udonthani and RC Suphanburi R.I. District 3340 Thailand. An Intercity Meeting was held at A’ Famosa Cowboy Town attended by Rotarians and Rotary Anns from both clubs.  </p>
<p>5. 02.01.10 &#8211; Hosted 2D1N Rotary Friendship Visit to Tampin by our sister club RC Taipei Castle R.I. District 3480 Taiwan ROC. An Intercity Meeting was held at Wangsamas Restaurant for signing the renewal of our sister club agreement. This function was well attended by Rotarians and Rotary Anns from both clubs.  </p>
<p>6. 15.04.10 &#8211; President Mike Ng, PP Lam Pang Heng, PP Dato’ Balwant Singh, PP Gan Choong Tat, PP Chin Choy Fook and Rtn. Micheal Lee and Rotary Ann Ye Siew Ten represented our club to attend our sister club RC Taipei Castle’s 23rd Anniversary Charter Celebrations in Taipei, Taiwan. </p>
<p><strong>SERVICE TO NEW GENERATIONS</strong></p>
<p>1. 25.07.09 &#8211; Attended 16th Installation Day of the Interact Club of Sek. Men. Pulau Sebang.</p>
<p>2. 30.07.09 &#8211; Attended 4th Installation Day of the Interact Club of Sek. Men. Taman Indah, Tampin.</p>
<p>3. 10.12.09 &#8211; Sponsored ten Interactors to attend the 41st District 3300 Interact Conference from 10 &#8211; 13 December 2009 at INTI University College, Putra Nilai hosted by Rotary Club of Klang. </p>
<p>4. 30.03.10 &#8211; Sponsored bus transport fees of RM350.00 for Interact Club of SMK Taman Indah to carry out their community service project to bring cheers to an orphanage in Kuala Pilah, N. Sembilan. </p>
<p><strong>VOCATIONAL SERVICE</strong></p>
<p>1. 29.09.09 &#8211; DG Leslie Salehuddin presented 2009-2010 Vocational Service Award to Mr. Ayan a/l Arjunan, Supervisor of Tampin Hospital in recognition of his vocational excellence and dedication in the field of allied health services.</p>
<p>2. 08.11.09 &#8211; 21st Rotary Day:<br />
Promotion of 4-Way Test  –  The 4-Way Test sticker pasted on 150 packets of wormicompost organic fertilizers were distributed to the general public who answered quizzes correctly. </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Rotary Club of Tampin, chartered on 26th April 1961 held its 48th Anniversary &#038; Installation Dinner at A’ Famosa Animal World Safari Lakeview Restaurant. Distinguished Club Patron Yang Teramat Mulia Tunku Besar Tampin, Tunku Syed Razman Bin Tunku Syed Idrus and YM Tunku Isteri Cik Puan Sharlita Omar graced this auspicious function. The Rotary dignitaries were Incoming District Governor DGE Leslie Salehuddin &#038; Ann Ziela, PDG Dato’ Mohd. Ariff Shaffie &#038; Datin Joo, PDG David Ho &#038; Ann Elsie and PDG Dato’ Dr. Low Teong &#038; Ann Jackie. For the first time, Rotarians from our sister club RC Udonthani, R.I. District 3340 Thailand also attended this year’s installation.</p>
<p>Rotarian Mike Ng Swee Leng who holds the classification of Home Furnishings was installed as the 48th Club President for the Rotary year 2009/2010 under the Rotary International Theme of “THE FUTURE OF ROTARY IS IN YOUR HANDS”. Rtn. Micheal Lee Wei Keong was also inducted into RC Tampin under loaned classification of “Timber Trading” in this function by DGE Leslie Salehuddin.</p>

<p>11. 04.11.08 &#8211; Hosted a fellowship dinner to welcome our District Governor Dr. Rajindar Singh &#038; District 1st Lady Surendra Kaur at Wangsamas Restaurant on the occasion of District Governor’s Official Visit to RC Tampin.</p>
<p>12. 08.11.08 &#8211; Family of Rotary – Rotarians and Anns attended house warming party of PP Chin Choy Fook at Taman Bukit Indah, Tampin.</p>
<p>13. 02.01.09 &#8211; 74th Rotary International District 3300 Conference at Syuen Hotel, Ipoh, Perak. Our club was represented by 10 Rotarians.</p>
<p>14. 13.01.09 &#8211; Family of Rotary – Hon. Member Datuk Alex Lau &#038; Datin Tan, PP Tee Boon Heng and PP Lioh Cheng Lim represented our club in Udonthani, Thailand to attend the last funeral rites of the late beloved Rotarian PP Sukit Sarathikun, sister club RC Udonthani. Received 10,000BHT Thai Bhat donation to the club.</p>

<p>16. 27.02.09 &#8211; Attended Group 13 Intercity Meeting “ International Night for World Understanding &#038; Peace” at Allson Resort, Seremban. Guest Speaker H.E. Mr. T. Jasudasan, High Commissioner of Republic of Singapore delivered a keynote address on “Building Bridges to Bring about Understanding between Our Two Countries”.</p>

<p>1. 05.08.08 &#8211; Provided monthly financial assistance of RM120.00 x 12 = RM1,440 to Madam Teck Kim Chow of Gemencheh to support her children schooling expenditures.</p>
<p>2. 05.08.08 &#8211; Donated RM500.00 to undergraduate Miss S. Heemalini to support her studies.</p>
<p>3. 24.08.08 &#8211; 20th Rotary day: Children’s Art Contest. Blood Donation. Honour our Senior Citizens. Organ Donation Campaign. Deworming syrup for children. Drug Abuse Prevention Exhibition. Road Safety Exhibition. </p>
<p>4. 16.09.08 &#8211; Provided monthly financial assistance of RM150.00 x10 =RM1,500 to Mr. Yoong Wa Tou, a colon cancer patient from Taman Indah, Tampin for his medical treatment.</p>
<p>5. 08.10.08 &#8211; Distributed 230 copies of Tamil-English dictionaries to four Tamil schools under the District Matching Grant Dictionary Project.</p>
<p>6. 13.10.08 &#8211; PDG Dr. Paul Lee, District Rotary Foundation Chairman officially launched two Matching Grants Projects completed by our club at Tampin Hospital and Pulau Sebang Secondary School respectively. Matching Grant #64931 costing USD$10,000 provided rehabilitation equipment to Occupational Therapy Unit for enhancing the rehabilitative therapy services to patients. The 2nd Matching Grant #64930 costing USD$18,000 provided tables and chairs to the new classrooms, library, science lab and canteen in the newly completed school block.</p>
<p>7. 11.11.08 &#8211; Provided financial aids for needy students of SRJK (C) Chung Hua @ RM30.00 x 15 = RM450.00 plus 20 copies of Chinese-English dictionaries that was presented during their Annual Speech Day.</p>
<p>8. 15.11.08 &#8211; Organized a Health Awareness Talk on “Glaucoma, Cataract, Diabetic Retinopathy” delivered by Dr. Tan Soo Hoi, Consultant Ophthalmologist from Columbia Asia Hospital, Seremban at Tampin Hainan Association.</p>
<p>9. 23.12.08 &#8211; Provided monthly allowance of RM100.00 x 2 x 6 =RM1,200 for two teachers at Pusat Dalam Komuniti (PDK) Tampin handicapped children centre.</p>
<p>10. 06.01.09 &#8211; Donated RM500.00 each respectively to En. Mohd. Adham a heart patient and En. Mohd. Suhaimi an accident patient following their appeal for financial assistance to subsidize the cost of their medical treatment.</p>
<p>11. 03.03.09 – Presented a wheelchair to Mr. Seah Loh Chee of Kg. Baru Gedok, Gemencheh costing RM250.00 bought through District Wheel Chair Foundation Project.</p>
<p>12. 05.03.09 &#8211; PDK Special Children Family Outing to A’ Famosa Water World saw participation from PDK Tampin, Rembau, Sri Kendong, Gemencheh, Sg. Timun, Jelai, Pasir Besar and Gemas. Datin Tan Chay Hoon, wife of our Hon. Member Datuk Alex Lau hosted this annual event and presented angpows to all the children.</p>
<p>13. 06.03.09 &#8211; Completed TRF Matching Grant Project # 68823 to provide equipment for Disabled Children Centres in Udonthani, Thailand with our sister club RC Udonthani, RI District 3340 Thailand as the international partner sponsor costing USD$19,000.00. </p>
<p>14. 10.04.09 &#8211; The GOLDEN CHILD Project a joint community service project with RC Petaling Jaya and RC Hong Kong Island West that bring children with terminal cancer for a weekend outing to attractions at A’ Famosa Resort. Our Hon. Member Datuk Alex Lau and his wife Datin Tan Chay Hoon have generously sponsored the<br />
accommodation and breakfast for this 3D2N event. </p>
<p>15. 26.04.09 &#8211; In conjunction with our club’s 48th Charter Day, Rotarians visited Tampin Hospital to bring cheers to patients in the wards and distributed goodies to all.</p>
<p><strong>INTERNATIONAL SERVICE</strong></p>
<p>1. 09.12.08 &#8211; 5D4N Rotary Friendship Visit to Udonthani, Thailand. The biggest delegation to visit our sister club RC Udonthani RI District 3340 comprising of 47 in our Family of Rotary including our DRFC PDG Dr. Paul Lee. Our sister club relationship of 15 years continued with the signing of renewal of sister club agreement by our President M. Gunalan Machap and President Eknarong witnessed by DG Pratheep Malotra of RI District 3340 and PDG Dr. Paul Lee. Participated in the launching of two community service projects namely “Clean Drinking Water Project” at Wad Sangkhao Naeng Village and “Library for Kids Project” at Udon Vittayas School. Our club donated 50,000BHT Thai Bhat toward the library project. </p>
<p>2. 10.01.09 &#8211; Hosted 2D1N Rotary Friendship Visit to Melaka by our sister club RC Taipei Castle R.I. District 3480 Taiwan ROC. An Intercity Meeting was held at Restaurant Lim Tian Puan , Melaka attended by Rotarians and Rotary Anns from both clubs.</p>
<p>3. 31.03.09 &#8211; “ROTALOOK” PROJECT hosted 5D4N two very charming young girls Miss Tuangrat “PLOY” teenage daughter of IPP Vinai and Rotary Ann Suporn and their niece Miss Ann Kittima from our sister club RC Udonthani, Thailand on home stay in Tampin at our IPP Steven Chong’s residence. By hosting each other children we<br />
have taken Rotary one step further in promoting international understanding, goodwill and peace. Opening the doors of our homes for our Rotary children to experience different culture and learn about local customs, languages, traditions and family life in another foreign country.</p>
<p>4. 03.05.09 &#8211; Hosted the GSE Team from RI District 1190 Manchester, UK for 2D1N in Tampin. The GSE Team members also visited various historical and places of interest in Malacca. </p>
<p>5. 13.05.09 &#8211; PP Lam Pang Heng, PP Dr. Er Kang Cher and Rtyn. Lai Peng, Rtn. Moi Kew Choi and Rtyn. Chwee Keng represented our club to attend our sister club RC Taipei Castle’s 22nd Anniversary Charter Celebrations in Taipei, Taiwan.</p>

<p>10.  04.11.07  &#8211; 19th Rotary Day : Promote Rotary Awareness Campaign, Rotary Information Booth and Membership Development Campaign.</p>
<p>11.  10.11.07  &#8211; Family of Rotary – Deepavali Pot’s Luck fellowship dinner was at held Chung Hua School Tampin. </p>
<p>12.  19.12.07  &#8211; Family of Rotary – Family Outing to Pulau Ketam, Selangor.<br />
                      Total 39 participants comprising of Rotarians and families.</p>
<p>13.  16.02.08  &#8211; Family of Rotary – Chinese New Year Pot’s Luck was held at Taman Bukit Indah. We had wonderful fellowship with Rotary friends and supporters. </p>
<p>14.  23.02.08  &#8211; Attended District 3300 Intercity Meeting “ World Understanding &#038; Peace” at Holiday Villa Subang. </p>
<p>15.  11.03.08  &#8211; Guest speaker Rtr. Gregory Sim from Rotaract Club of Kota Melaka delivered a very informative talk to our members on “ROTARACT” in conjunction with World Rotaract Week observed 10th – 16th March 2008. </p>
<p>16.  01.04.08  &#8211; Attended RC Kota Laksamana’s 10th Anniversary  Dinner. </p>
<p>17.  12.04.08  &#8211; Attended Hon. Member Mr. Tay Ah Long’s 77th Birthday Dinner.   He presented his annual contribution of RM10K to our club’s education aids fund and pledged to increase to RM15K next year. </p>
<p>18.  18.04.08  &#8211; 74th Rotary International District 3300 Assembly at Royal Bintang Hotel, Seremban, hosted by RC Seremban and partner clubs in Negeri Sembilan. As a partner club, we have 100% registration from all our members. Rotarians were also on duty to take charge of distributing the assembly bags.</p>
<p>19.  26.04.08  &#8211; Family of Rotary – Rotarians and Anns attended our club’s 47th Charter Day Dinner at Wangsamas Restaurant. PDG David Ho, Rotarians and Anns from RC Petaling Jaya were our special guests at the function.</p>
<p>20.  20.05.08  &#8211; Guest speaker Ms. Emelia Tan from MyBatik Magazine Publisher delivered a very interesting and informative talk on “MALAYSIAN BATIK- Process, Design &#038; Market” to our members. </p>
<p>21.  31.05.08  &#8211; Attended District 3300 The Rotary Foundation Recognition Night at Holiday Villa Subang. The Guest of Honour Past RI President &#038; TRF Trustee Khun Bhichai Rattakul of Thailand presented 100% EREY Club per capita recognition to our club ranked 5th in our district for Rotary Foundation Annual Giving this year with a total contribution of  USD$7,000 to TRF. Promotion of 4-Way Test  –  The 4-Way Test drinking mugs were distributed to the general public. </p>
<p>3.    04.11.07   &#8211; Educational Aids Subsidies worth RM10,050 were given out to 37 secondary school students @ RM150.00 each and 45 primary school students @ RM100.00 each respectively. </p>
<p><strong>COMMUNITY SERVICE</strong></p>
<p>1. 14.08.07 &#8211; Provided financial assistance of RM720.00 to Mdm. Teck Kim Chow of Gemencheh to support her children schooling expenses.</p>
<p>2.  12.10.07  &#8211; Road Safety Awareness “Balik Kampung” project officiated by Tampin OCPD Tuan Zul Aznam Haron at Jalan Seremban-Tampin.  30 food hampers, 500 packets of candies, 480 bottles of drinking water, 300 pieces of reflective safety vests and 500 pieces of road safety pamphlets were given out to passing motorists to promote driving home safely during the festive season of Hari Raya Puasa.</p>

<p>7. 15.01.08  &#8211; Donated RM300.00 to Mr. Ong Boon Fah, a kidney patient from Kg. Baru Gedok, Gemencheh for his medical treatment.</p>
<p>8 .  06.03.08     &#8211; PDK Special Children Family Outing to A’ Famosa Water World saw participation from PDK Tampin, Rembau, Gemencheh, Jelai, Pasir Besar and Gemas. This year’s outing coincided with the birthday of Datin Tan Chay Hoon, wife of our Hon. Member Datuk Alex Lau.  Datin Tan presented cash donation of RM300 each to all the PDKs and distributed angpows to all the children. </p>
<p>9.  11.04.08   &#8211; Provided one unit of Hot &#038; Cold Water Dispenser to Accident &#038; Emergency Department of Tampin Hospital for the convenience of the general public at the waiting area.</p>
<p>10.  26.04.08     &#8211; Conducted Rotary International’s Lighthouse Literacy Project called Concentrated Language Encounter (CLE) for 27 teachers at A’ Famosa Resort with the assistance of Rotary Club of Petaling Jaya. The CLE is an approach in English language teaching and learning that integrates the development of the four skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing. The CLE technique was found to be successful in turning failure into success when it used as a methodology in teaching English proficiency. </p>
<p>11.  01.05.08     &#8211; Rotarians participated in DIY gotong royong to repaint the Rotary Bus Shelter in front of TBS Hostel. The participants were President Steven Chong, PE M. Gunalan Machap, Community Service Director Rtn. Lau Kwong Nee, PP Chin Choy Fook, PP Gan Choong Tat, PP Lam Pang Heng, PP Tai Nam Sin, Rtn. Chang Yin Wan and PP Lioh Cheng Lim. </p>
<p>12.  06.05.08     &#8211; The Rotary Foundation approved two Matching Grant projects to be implemented by our club. Matching Grant # 64930 costing USD$18,000 to provide tables and chairs to Pulau Sebang Secondary School and Matching Grant # 64931 costing USD$10,000 to provide rehabilitation equipment for Occupational Therapy Unit of Tampin Hospital. </p>
<p>13.  05.06.08     &#8211; Hosted Miss Catherine King, The Rotary Foundation Grants Coordinator who visited Matching Grant projects of our club at Tampin District Hospital in particular Matching Grant # 64931 that will provide rehabilitation equipment for patients undergoing therapy at the Occupational Therapy Unit. </p>
<p>7. 15.01.08  &#8211; Donated RM300.00 to Mr. Ong Boon Fah, a kidney patient from Kg. Baru Gedok, Gemencheh for his medical treatment.</p>
<p><strong>INTERNATIONAL SERVICE</strong></p>

<p>3.  06.11.07  &#8211;   Hosted the Intercity Meeting for Rotary Clubs in Group 9 Negeri Sembilan at A’ Famosa Resort for the official presentation by the GSE Team from RI District 2510 South Hokkaido, Japan.</p>
<p>4. 04.01.08    &#8211; Hosted 2D1N Rotary Friendship Visit to Tampin by our sister club RC Taipei Castle R.I. District 3480 Taiwan ROC. An Intercity Meeting was held at A’ Famosa Resort, Alor Gajah, Melaka where the renewal our sister club agreement for another two years was signed. </p>
<p>5.  08.05.08    &#8211;  PP Dr. Er Kang Cher and Rotary Ann Lai Peng represented our club to attend sister club RC Taipei Castle’s 21st Anniversary Charter Celebrations in Taipei, Taiwan. </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Our Partners in Service comprising of twenty Interactors of SMK Pulau Sebang and SMK Taman Indah participated in a very meaningful community service project to clean up the new home of the Amazing Grace Home for Aged at Tampin New Village. The gotong-royong also involved the active participation of the Teacher Advisor Mr. Siva and Tampin Rotarians led by our New Generations Director Rtn. Mike Ng. </p>
<p>The whole clearing up exercise was completed in about three hours because we were there to LEND A HAND on this wonderful Sunday morning. Special thanks to our Interactors who were very helpful and did an excellent job!  </p>

Distinguished Club Patron Yang Teramat Mulia Tunku Besar Tampin, Tunku Syed Razman Bin Tunku Syed Idrus graced this auspicious function. The Rotary dignitaries and special guests present were PDG Dato’ Mohd. Ariff Shaffie and Datin Joo coming all the way from Ipoh and Tampin OCPD Tuan Zul Aznam Haron. Rotarian Steven Chong Teck Min who holds the classification of Hardware Retailing was installed as the 46th Club President for the Rotary year 2007/2008 under the Rotary International Theme of “ROTARY SHARES”. He and his newly installed Board of Directors will serve for a year starting 1st July 2007. Rtn. Chang Yin Wan was also inducted into RC Tampin under loaned classification of “Restaurants” in this function. </p>
<p>Rotary Club of Tampin is a service club with excellent track records of serving the community. Among the notable projects carried out by the club is its Rotary Day Project for the community. It features activities such as Blood Donation Campaign, Medical Clinic &#038; Health Exhibition, Drug Abuse Prevention Campaign, Honour our Senior Citizen’s Project, Children’s Colouring Contest, Carnival Games for Youth and many other activities. This year 19th Rotary Day will be extra special to celebrate our 50 years of National Independence. The other annual club project includes Education Aids Awards to poor needy students made possible through the generosity of Honorary Member Mr. Tay Yew Keng who donates RM10,000 annually towards this project. The other annual project is our Rotary Youth Camp for the new generations. </p>
<p>For the Rotary year 2007/2008, the club will implement two major project costing USD$30,000 for the community through the Matching Grants Program of The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International utilizing DDF for funding to provide tables and chairs for school and rehabilitation equipment for hospital.  In the pipeline are other service projects with emphasis towards literacy, water management, health and hunger, and the family of Rotary.  </p>
<p>Rotary Club of Tampin is member of Rotary International, which is a worldwide organisation of more than 32,000 Rotary clubs in more than 169 countries that work to improve the quality of life in the community throughout the world. As volunteers, Rotarians build goodwill and peace, provide humanitarian service and encourage high ethical standards in all vocations. There are some 1.2 million Rotarians in the Rotary world.   </p>

<p>14. 07.10.06 &#8211; Family of Rotary – Rotarians and Anns attended the Joint Pot’s Luck Fellowship with RC Kota Laksamana, Melaka at PP Patricia Lim’s residence at Taman Kota Laksamana, Melaka. </p>
<p>15. 20.10.06 &#8211; Family of Rotary – Hosted Pot’s Luck Fellowship Dinner at Chung Hua School in appreciation of services rendered by our Interactors and St. John Ambulance members during 18th Rotary Day. </p>
<p>16. 24.02.07 &#8211; Family of Rotary – Chinese New Year Pot’s Luck was held at Taman Bukit Indah. We had wonderful fellowship with Rotary friends and supporters. </p>
<p>18. 27.02.07 &#8211; Guest speaker PP Hj. Mohd. Yusof from RC Metro KL, GSE Team Leader to Austria RI District 1920 addressed our club members on his experience visiting the various places of interest in Austria. </p>
<p>19. 17.04.07 &#8211; Recruited a  new  member Rtn. Chang Yin Wan under the loaned classification of “Restaurant” and readmitted a former member Rtn. Leong Teck Hing to our club. </p>
<p>20. 20.04.07 &#8211; 73rd Rotary International District 3300 Assembly at Syuen Hotel, Ipoh, Perak hosted by RC Kinta. Our club was represented by PE Steven Chong, SE PP Lioh Cheng Lim, TE PP Tai Nam Sin, PP Dato’ Balwant Singh, PP Gan Choong Tat, PP Lam Pang Heng and PP Tee Boon Heng.</p>
<p>21. 28.04.07 &#8211; Attended an Intercity Meeting hosted by RC Senawang at Sg. Ujong Club, Seremban. The Guest Speaker Miss Vanaja Subramaniam the only woman candidate shortlisted in the National Astronaut Program delivered a very interesting talk on her pursuit in the program.</p>
<p>22. 24.05.07 &#8211;  Attended an Intercity Meeting hosted by RC Senawang for the launching of District Governor’s Wheelchair Project in Negeri Sembilan at Sg. Ujong Club, Seremban.</p>
<p><strong>VOCATIONAL SERVICE</strong></p>
<p>1. 04.07.06 &#8211; Donated RM500.00 to Miss Chiang Shek Ling of Machap Umboo, Alor Gajah who has appealed for financial assistance for her admission to University Malaysia Sabah. </p>
<p>2. 10.09.06 &#8211; 18th Rotary Day : Promotion of 4-Way Test  –  The 4-Way Test key chains were distributed to the general public. </p>
<p>3. 01.01.07 &#8211; Awarded Vocational Service Award 2007 to En. Aripin bin Said, a postman from Tampin Pos Malaysia in recognition of his vocational excellence and dedication in the field of postal services to society.  </p>
<p><strong>COMMUNITY SERVICE</strong></p>
<p>1. 11.07.06 &#8211; Provided a monthly financial assistance of RM60.00 to Madam Choo Yat Fah of Gemencheh to support her children education needs for six months subject to review.</p>

<p>6. 23.01.07 &#8211; Donated RM200.00 each to three students of SMK Pulau Sebang who were victims of a big fire in Dangi, Johol and additional donation of RM2,000.00 to the fire disaster relief fund managed by Mr. Lim Ba Ba, Headman of Dangi Village. </p>
<p>7. 26.01.07 &#8211; Public Talk at Chung Hua School<br />
Topic: “HEAR WELL SPEAK WELL” by Mr. C.S. Tan sponsored by SIEMENS Malaysia. </p>
<p>8. 30.01.07 &#8211; Contributed RM2,000.00 to ROTAFOM Flood Disaster Victims  Relief Fund and additional donation of RM875.00 to RC Senawang for flood disaster relief work in Johor. </p>
<p>9. 13.02.07 &#8211; Provided monthly financial assistance of RM120.00 x 6 months to Madam Teck Kim Chow of Gemencheh for her children schooling expenses until 30th June 2007. </p>

<p>11. 29.03.07 &#8211; PDK Special Children Family Outing to A’ Famosa Water World saw participation from PDK Tampin, Rembau, Gemencheh, Jelai, Pasir Besar and Gemas. Special children from Melaka and Bahau also participated this year that were sponsored by RC A’ Famosa Malacca and RC Bahau respectively. </p>
<p><strong>INTERNATIONAL SERVICE</strong></p>
<p>1. 09.12.06 &#8211; 4D3N Rotary Friendship Visit to sister club RC Udonthani RI District 3340 and RC Suphanburi RI District 3330, Thailand. The team delegation of ten Rotarians comprised of President Gan Boon Kiong, PP Lioh Cheng Lim, PP Dato’ Balwant Singh, PP Chin Choy Fook, PP Lam Pang Heng, PP Tee Boon Heng, PP Tan Chin Sing, Rtn. Moi Kew Choi, Rtn. Liu Fook Nyun and Rtn. Steven Chong. Our Hon. Member Dato’ Alex Lau and Datin Tan also participated in this visit. Our sister club agreement with RC Udonthani was renewed for another two years. Budgeted RM5,000.00 for WCS projects to be carried out in Thailand –  “Shelter for the  Poor Project” and “ Clean Water for Life Project”.</p>
<p>2. 03.01.07 &#8211; Hosted the GSE Team from RI District 9600 Australia. The GSE Team members visited various historical and places of interest in Malacca. </p>
<p>3. 18.01.07 &#8211; Hosted 2D1N Rotary Friendship Visit to Tampin by our sister club RC Taipei Castle R.I. District 3480 Taiwan ROC at A’ Famosa Resort, Alor Gajah, Melaka. </p>
<p>4. 12.05.07 &#8211;  PP Dr. Er Kang Cher and PP Tai Nam Sin represented our club to attend sister club RC Taipei Castle’s 20th Anniversary Charter Celebrations in Taipei, Taiwan. PP Tai emerged Overall Champion in their golf tournament.</p>
<p><strong>SERVICE TO NEW GENERATIONS</strong></p>
<p>1. 08.07.06 &#8211; Attended 13th Installation Nite of the Interact Club of Sek. Men. Pulau Sebang.</p>
<p>2. 10.09.06 &#8211; 18th Rotary Day :<br />
Promotion of Carnival/Traditional games.<br />
Promotion of healthy recreational activities for youth.</p>
<p>3. 07.11.06 &#8211; Conducted an interest meeting for the formation of an Interact Club at Sek, Men. Taman Indah, Tampin. About 50 students attended the powerpoint presentation on “What is Interact ?” by Secretary PP Lioh Cheng Lim. </p>
<p>4. 08.12.06 &#8211; Sponsored our Interactors to attend the District 3300 Interact Conference from 8th – 10th December 2006 at 5th College, University Malaya, Petaling Jaya, Selangor.</p>
<p>5. 26.12.06 &#8211; Hosted eleven Rotary Youth Exchange Students from RC Medan Merdeka, RI District 3400 Indonesia from 26th December 2006 – 2nd  January 2007. </p>
<p>6. 24.03.07 &#8211; Chief Resource Rotarian PP Lioh Cheng Lim assisted by New Generations Director PP Ng Boon Kway and Treasurer Rtn. Lau Kwong Nee conducted an Interact Workshop for the provisional Interact Club of  Sek. Men. Taman Indah. </p>
<p>7. 24.04.07 &#8211; Received from Rotary International the charter certificate for the new Interact Club of Sek. Men. Taman Indah established on 24th March 2007 with 52 charter members and the Charter President is Intr. Lim Wan Xian. </p>

<p>19.  03.03.06  &#8211; Incoming GDL PP Lioh Cheng Lim attended the Group Discussion Leaders Training Seminar hosted by RC Bahau over the weekend at Era Hotel, Bahau. </p>
<p>20.  04.03.06   &#8211;  Attended the GDLTS fellowship dinner hosted by our DGE Dato’ Jimmy Lim at Bahau.</p>
<p>21.  17.03.06  &#8211;  Family of Rotary – Rotarians and Anns attended funeral wake to pay our last respects to Rtn. Lee Khoon Lin’s late mother who passed away peacefully on 14th March 2006.</p>
<p>22.  06.04.06   &#8211;  72nd Rotary International District 3300 Assembly at Holiday Villa, Subang, Selangor hosted by RC Port Klang. Our club was led by PE Gan Boon Kiong, SE/GDL PP Lioh Cheng Lim, TE Rtn. Lau Kwong Nee, President Lawrence Tan, PP Gan Choong Tat and PP Tee Boon Heng</p>
<p>23.  01.05.06  &#8211;  Family of Rotary – Rotarians paid our last respects and extend our deepest sympathies and condolences to our Club Patron YTM Tunku Besar Tampin Tunku Syed Razman and family members on the demise of his beloved mother the late YM Tunku Zainon who passed away peacefully on the 30th April 2006.</p>
<p><strong>VOCATIONAL SERVICE</strong></p>
<p>1.    23.08.05   &#8211; DG Dr. Ken Khoo presented Vocational Service Award 2005/2006 to Rev. Peter Bock in recognition of his vocational excellence in the field of caring for the aged. Our club also donated RM500.00 to the Amazing Grace Welfare Home for the Aged under his care. </p>
<p>2.    25.09.05   &#8211; 17th Rotary Day :<br />
Promotion of 4-Way Test  –  The 4-Way Test ball point pens were distributed to the general public. </p>
<p>3.   04.10.05    &#8211;  Internal club speaker PP Lioh Cheng Lim delivered a classification talk  on “ Musculoskeletal Trauma Imaging” in conjunction with Vocational Service Month. </p>
<p>4.  10.10.05    &#8211;  PP Lioh Cheng Lim promoted The Four Way Test at Rotarian’s work place during the monthly staff assembly at Tampin Hospital and fifty 4-Way Test ballpoint pens were given out to the staff. </p>
<p>5.  16.04.06    &#8211;  Hon. Member Mr Tay Yew Keng presented Education Aids to subsidise STPM/SPM 2006 Exam Fees of fifty three students totaling RM10,000.00 this year. He has been donating RM5,000.00 consecutively for the past ten years and this year he has increased his annual cash donation to  RM10,000.00 towards this education aids program for poor needy students.</p>
<p>6.  16.04.06    &#8211;  Provided education aid of RM500.00 to Cik Nur Shah Jihan of Taman Gunung Mas for her college admission fees.</p>

<p>1.  02.08.05  &#8211; Completed the District “READ TO ME” Literacy Project by providing cassette recorders and audiotapes to PDK Centres of Tampin, Rembau, Gemencheh and Jelai.</p>
<p>2.  03.08.05  &#8211; Provided a monthly financial assistance of RM50.00 to Madam Seah Kim Choon of Gemencheh to support her children education needs for six months subject to review.</p>
<p>3.  03.08.05   &#8211; Donated RM300.00 to Madam Chin Ah Lian of Taman Gembira, Gemencheh for her kidney dialysis treatment.</p>

<p>10.  05.04.06     &#8211; Presented English Story Books from the District Rotary Centennial Literacy Project to SRJK (C) Chung Hua Tampin and SRJK (C) Kg. Baru Tampin.   </p>
<p>11.  14.04.06     &#8211;  Our club jointly carried out a community service project with RC Petaling Jaya and RC Hong Kong Island West called the Golden Child Project that bring young children who are terminally ill with cancer from disadvantaged homes for a weekend outing to A’ Famosa Resort.</p>

<p>1.   29.10.05    &#8211; Hosted Rotary Friendship Visit to Tampin by our sister club RC Taipei Castle R.I. District 3480 Taiwan ROC. The sister club agreement was renewed for another two years at an Intercity Meeting held at IOI Resort, Putrajaya. </p>
<p>2.   14.01.06  &#8211;   Hosted the GSE Team from RI District 1920 Austria. The GSE Team members visited various historical and places of interest in Malacca. GSE Team Leader PP Dr. Werner Schrotta and team members Dr. Teresa Nowotny, Dr. Christian Mechtler, Doris Kaimberger and Oliver Puhringer.   </p>
<p>3.   20.01.06  &#8211;  Hosted visiting Rotarians and Anns from Thailand, RI District 3340 namely our sister club RC Udonthani and also RC Suphanburi on their 3D2N Rotary Friendship Visit to Tampin.</p>
<p>4.  21.01.06    &#8211; Carried out a joint community service project with our sister club RC Udonthani, RI District 3340 Thailand, contributing BHT 20,000 to provide food rations to the Orang Asli community of Gong Badak , Tebong.</p>
<p>5.  11.05.06    &#8211; Official visit to sister club RC Taipei Castle, RI District 3480 Taiwan ROC to attend their club’s 19th Charter Anniversary Celebration. <p>3. 31.07.04 &#8211; Family of Rotary – Special fellowship dinner was held  at Long Shin Restaurant to recognize our Ann’s untiring effort towards a very successful 43rd Installation Dinner.</p>

<p>10. 09.11.04 &#8211; Guest speaker DGN PP Dato’ Jimmy Lim addressed our club members on TRF  “EREY&#8221; &#8211; Every Rotarian Every Year Program and hoped members will give their wholehearted support to Annual Giving Fund in conjunction with Rotary’s Centennial year to CELEBRATE ROTARY! </p>

<p>12. 25.01.05 &#8211; Hosted a fellowship dinner to welcome our District Governor Dato’ AP Perumal &#038;1st Lady Datin Thanges at A’ Famosa Golf Resort on the occasion of District Governor’s Official Club Visit to RC Tampin.</p>
<p>13. 05.02.05 &#8211; Family of Rotary – Rotarians, Anns and family members attended a house warming party hosted by AG Lioh Cheng Lim at his new residence No. 9, Taman Bukit Indah.</p>
<p>14. 19.02.05 &#8211; Family of Rotary – Rotarians, Anns and family members attended a house warming party cum Chinese New Year Open House hosted by President Lim Chong Hock at his new residence No. 1, Taman Bukit Indah. </p>
<p>15. 07.01.05 &#8211; 70th R.I. District 3300 Centennial Conference 2005 at IOI Marriot Hotel, Putrajaya hosted by RC Bandar Sunway. Our club was represented by President Lim Chong Hock, AG Lioh Cheng Lim, PE Lawrence Tan, PP Tee Boon Heng and Rtn. Lau Kwong Nee.</p>
<p>16. 01.03.05 &#8211; Guest speaker DGN PP Dato’ Jimmy Lim addressed our club members on his recent visit to tsunami struck city of  Banda Acheh, Indonesia and hoped our club will support the district tsunami relief fund to help the victims.</p>
<p>17. 27.03.05 &#8211; Rotary’s Centennial 100th Anniversary Celebration Dinner at Holiday Villa Subang, Petaling. Our club was represented by President Lim Chong Hock, PE Lawrence Tan Yong Chua, PP Chin Choy Fook and PP Tee Boon Heng.</p>
<p>18. 24.04.05 &#8211; Family of Rotary – 44th Charter Day Celebration Dinner was held at A’ Famosa Resort to commemorate our 44 years of service to the community. We had wonderful fellowship with our visiting Rotarians and Anns from sister club RC Taipei Castle and also friendship club RC Taipei Golden Eagle, Rotary friends and supporters. </p>
<p>19. 12.05.05 &#8211; 71st Rotary Internationall District 3300 Assembly in Genting Highlands, Pahang. Penang. Our club was represented by AG Lioh Cheng Lim, PE Lawrence Tan, PP Robert Hoo and Rtn. Lau Kwong Nee.</p>
<p><strong>VOCATIONAL SERVICE</strong></p>
<p>1. 26.09.04 &#8211; 16th Rotary Day :<br />
Promotion of 4-Way Test –  Specially made motorcycle road tax key holders incorporating The 4-Way Test were distributed to the general public. </p>
<p>2. 25.01.05 &#8211; DG Dato’ AP Perumal presented Vocational Service Award 2004/05 to En. Hanafiah a traffic policeman in recognition of his vocational excellence in the field of road safety awareness promotion.  </p>
<p>3. 11.03.05 &#8211; Vocational visit for our Interactors to SMR Factory at Kota.  </p>
<p><strong>COMMUNITY SERVICE</strong></p>
<p>1. 06.07.04 &#8211; Donated RM300.00 to Mr. Lee Kien Min who is raising fund for his renal transplant operation in China.</p>
<p>2. 03.08.04 &#8211; Provided a monthly financial subsidy of RM120.00 to a widow Madam Choo Yat Fah of Gemencheh to support her children education needs for six months subject to review.</p>
<p>3. 17/08/04 &#8211; Donated educational toys, book racks and floor mats to Tampin Hospital’s Children Ward Playroom. Total cost  = RM630.00</p>
<p>4. 24.08.04 &#8211; Donated a wheelchair to Madam Tan Saw Lean who is paralyzed from waist down.</p>

<p>6. 12.11.04 &#8211; Rotary Centennial Project &#8211; A road safety campaign with Tampin Traffic Police in conjunction with Hari Raya Balik Kampong was held in front of Majid Jamek Tunku Besar. Besides hampers, car stickers and road tax holders bearing the road safety messages were given to passing motorists. It was officiated by YB Dato’ Shaziman Hj. Abu Mansor, Deputy Minister of Energy, Water and Communiciation, Tampin MP together with Tampin District Officer Tn. Hj. Mohd. Yusof and Tampin OCPD Tn. Zul Aznam Haron. </p>
<p>7. 18.12.04 &#8211; Medical Forum in Gemencheh by Mahkota Medical Centre. Topic: Breast and Colon Cancer.</p>
<p>8. 25.01.05 &#8211; Completed TRF Matching Grant Project # 50995 costing USD$3,500.00 that provided water filtration system for safe drinking water to pupils of primary schools in Tampin &#8211; Chung Hua, Pay Chee, Kg. Baru Tampin and also schools in Gemencheh &#8211; Kg. Baru Geduk and Regent Estate Tamil school.</p>
<p>9. 25.03.05 &#8211; Assisted RC Petaling Jaya to carry out its Golden Child Project to bring young children who are terminally ill with cancer from disadvantaged homes for a weekend outing to A’ Famosa Water World Theme Park.  </p>
<p>10. 24.04.05 &#8211; Tampin DO Tn. Hj. Mohd Yusof Yunos and Tampin OCPD Tn. Zul Aznam Haron jointly officiated at the opening ceremony for Rotary’s Crime Prevention Signboard at Tampin Square Complex and Tampin Police Community Dialogue organized by RC Tampin.  Visiting Rotarians from RC Taipei Castle and RC Taipei Golden Eagle, RI District 3480, Taiwan  also participated in this event. </p>
<p>11. 24.04.05 &#8211; ROTARY @ WORK 100 Service Hours Marathon “CELEBRATE ROTARY with Special Children&#8221; at the A’ Famosa Cowboy Town from 7.00p.m. to 10p.m. Hosted sumptuous dinner for thirty special children and their family members followed by fun time at amusement park. DG Dato’ AP Perumal and 1st Lady Datin Thanges attended this event that also saw the participation of our visiting Rotarians and Anns from RC Taipei Castle and RC Taipei Golden Eagle, RI District 3480, Taiwan.</p>
<p>12. 31.05.05 &#8211; Donated a set of marble garden table and stools costing RM400 to Tampin Hospital’s Haemodialysis Unit for landscaping their garden.</p>
<p><strong>INTERNATIONAL SERVICE</strong></p>
<p>1. 10.12.05 &#8211; Rotary Friendship Visit to our sister club RC Udonthani R.I. District 3340 Thailand. The sister club agreement was renewed for another two years. Our club also contributed USD $2,000 for a  World Community Service (WCS) Project to provide lamp posts to light up downtown Udonthani to commemorate Rotary Centennial Year. Our International Service Director Rtn. Mike Ng Swee Leng led the delegation comprising of President Lim Chong Hock, VP Wong Horn Kong, PP Alex Tee and Ann Jenny, PP Dato’ Balwant Singh and Ann Datin Belinda, PP Lam Pang Heng, PP Chin Choy Fook, PP Gan Choong Tat, PP Tee Boon Heng, Rtn. Gan Boon Kiong and Rtn. Lee Khoon Lin.</p>
<p>2. 19.01.05 &#8211; Hosted the GSE Team from RI District 5330 California, USA. The GSE Team visited historical and places of interest in Malacca.</p>
<p>3. 22.04.05 &#8211; Hosted visiting Rotarians and Anns from Taiwan RI District 3480 namely our sister club RC Taipei Castle and also friendship club RC Taipei Golden Eagle on their Rotary Friendship Visit to Tampin to attend our club’s 44th Charter Anniversary Celebration Dinner.</p>
<p>4. 31.05.05 &#8211; Received USD$8,000 from The Rotary Foundation for our Matching Grant # 55684 with our international sponsor RC La Quinta, R.I. District 5330 California USA to provide audio equipment for interactive teaching and learning for  twelve primary schools in Tampin. The implementation of project is in progress. </p>
